Who I Am
After starting my career in Perth, Western Australia, getting to where I am today has been an amazing journey across different geographies and cultures, with a common theme - I make things happen!
• Strategic Growth: Built and led high-performing commercial teams, driving substantial and sustainable growth in both top- and bottom-line revenues, with a focus on portfolio and geographic expansion.
• Global Reach: Based in the UK, Hong Kong, and Australia at various times in my career, I have successfully executed commercial strategies across Europe, the US, and APAC, including China and Japan.
• Market Entry and Expansion: Defined and implemented market entry strategies, go-to-market models, and infrastructure support for both direct and indirect (3rd – party Distributor) operations.
• Launch Planning: Led cross-functional teams through clinical, regulatory, and market access processes, often establishing KOL Advisory Boards and patient support programs to ensure successful new product launches.
• Deal-Making: Strong track record of negotiating and executing pivotal commercial deals, such as Distribution & Supply Agreements, In- and Out-Licensing, and M&A.
My Projects
Presently engaged by several Australian start-up companies, providing advice and support for the development and global commercialization of pharmaceutical, drug-device combination and IVD products.
Advised a number of private equity firms and pharma companies on:
- portfolio & geographic expansion in Emerging Markets after acquisition of a consumer healthcare business.
- best practice for working with 3rd-party distributors, encompassing contractual terms, infrastructure, resource requirements and KPI’s.
- implementing Sales Force Excellence programs and efficiencies.
- mechanisms of pricing & reimbursement for drugs in China.
Contributed to 'Library Exclusive Series' interviews: Outsourcing in the Healthcare Industry in APAC for an International Consulting Group.
